Bourne Classical

The Piano Guys make another masterpiece. Review after the video.

You know the drill: Jon Schmidt on the piano, Steve Sharp Nelson on the cello, and The Piano Guys crew working the cameras.

Some Thoughts

  • The music is awesome as usual. I love these dudes.
  • 0:13, That’s pretty high up for a low-budget outfit like these guys.
  • 0:23, Judging from the height of the camera but its close proximity to the buildings, plus the slight sway in the shot, I would venture that this is being filmed on a DSLR mounted on a remote-controlled helicopter.
  • The urban setting is legit
  • At 0:37 the cello is solid steel. No wood. This beauty was handmade by Dawson Swan.
  • All the percussion noises were made with the above-mentioned instrument.
  • 1:06-1:10, Yup, got to be a RC helicopter.
  • 2:11-2:15, Creative shot.
  • 2:56, Aghhghhh! So awesome! Totally did not expect that!
  • 3:35, Wow. I really want to try that some day.
  • For those still clueless, the music is based on the soundtrack from the Bourne film series.

Love the Bourne movies this was a great video. Can’t believe Matt Damon isn’t in the new movie.
