Tintin walked into my life when I was just a whippersnapper. I was 9 or 10 and had never met anyone quite like him. He was brave, clever, and always knew how to get out of any scrape.

Eventually, Tintin led me through 23 adventures with him, including wars in the Middle East, revolutions in South America, court intrigue in Europe, and a journey to the Moon and back.

No matter the stakes or how heavily the odds were stacked against him, Tintin always got his man.

It’s been years since I’ve last enjoyed a voyage with Tintin so I’m stoked that Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg have invited you, me, and the rest of the world to once again don the jacket of adventure and join Tintin on an epic quest on December 23rd.

I plan to accept my invitation. How about you?
